Phoenix outdoor pickleball courts open latest at night (Fall 2026)

The City of Phoenix's Fall 2026 pickleball flyer gives closing times for 13 parks with confirmed outdoor pickleball courts. The latest are 11:00pm at Desert Foothills Park (2 courts) and La Pradera Park (2 courts), then 10:30pm at Harvest Park (2 courts) and Paseo Highlands Park (6 courts). Most other parks close at 10:00pm by the flyer, although the City's own park pages list 11 p.m. for Deem Hills Park and Roadrunner Park. Hours are valid for August - December 2026 only, and the City's own park pages disagree with the flyer at some parks (shown below), so call before a late game.

Last verified against the City's Fall 2026 flyer (re-downloaded that day; byte-identical to our saved copy) and the Hours field of each park's official phoenix.gov page (re-checked that day; unchanged since 2026-10-27). Sources

Open late does not mean lit. The flyer and the City's park pages give opening hours only. Neither says whether the pickleball courts have lights, so a late closing time is not evidence of lighting. Where third-party court directories report lights, we say so below and label it unconfirmed by the City; everywhere else lights are Unknown.

"Closes (flyer)" is the closing time printed on the City's Fall 2026 flyer, which is the only City source that gives hours for every park. "City park page hours" is the Hours field on each park's official phoenix.gov page, which covers the whole park, not just the courts; blank there means the page lists no hours. Court counts are from the flyer; Desert Foothills' 2 courts are listed as "dual use".

Where the City's sources disagree on hours

We don't know which source is current, so we show both. If you plan to play near closing time at any of these parks, call the Parks Division office for that area first: South 602-262-6111, Downtown 602-262-6412, Northeast 602-262-6696, Northwest 602-262-6575, Special Operations 602-261-8011 (numbers from the flyer).

Deer Valley Park is left out of the table: the flyer lists 6 outdoor courts there (5:30am-10:00pm), but the City's other sources don't confirm outdoor pickleball courts, and its park page gives different hours (5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m).

Indoor pickleball in the evening

If you want to play after dark under a roof, the flyer lists two evening indoor drop-in sessions: Longview Community Center (Mon 7:00pm–8:45pm, 602-534-6570); Washington Activity Center (Wed 6:00pm–8:30pm, 602-262-6971); a recreation pass is required. Details: Monday sessions, Wednesday sessions, or the full indoor drop-in schedule.

What the sources don't say

Whether courts are lit, whether lights are on a timer or switch, fees, surface, and whether courts close early for maintenance or events are not in the flyer or on the park pages, so they are Unknown here.
