Pecos Community Center indoor pickleball (Phoenix): drop-in times, courts, passes
Pecos Community Center (17010 S 48 St, Phoenix) has 3 indoor pickleball courts on the City of Phoenix's Fall 2026 pickleball flyer, with drop-in play on Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:00am–12:00pm. A recreation membership pass is required (day pass adults $2, youth $1). It sits at the same address as Pecos Park, which has 16 outdoor pickleball courts on the same flyer. Times are valid for August - December 2026 only.

Call the site before you go: 602-495-5500. The flyer says courts may not be available during school breaks, city holidays and gym maintenance, and to call the site for more information. The City's page says the center is closed Sundays and holidays.

Drop-in schedule
The flyer lists one recurring time block at Pecos Community Center:
- Monday and Wednesday: 9:00am–12:00pm
That is 2 sessions a week, both in the morning. There is no evening, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday or weekend pickleball session at Pecos on the flyer. On Mondays and Wednesdays the building is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. per the City page, but pickleball is only during the flyer session. See every center on the Monday and Wednesday pages, or the evening sessions elsewhere in the city.
Indoor pass prices
From the flyer: a recreation membership pass is required for indoor gym court use.
- Day pass: adults $2, youth $1
- Annual pass, Phoenix residents: adults $20, youth $5
- Annual pass, nonresidents: adults $40, youth $10
The flyer doesn't say where to buy a pass or what ages count as "youth": Unknown. Ask the center when you call.
Outdoor courts at the same address: Pecos Park
The community center is inside Pecos Park (the City page says it is “located in the city park of the same name”). The flyer lists 16 outdoor pickleball courts at Pecos Park, open daily 5:30am-10:00pm, the most at any City park on the flyer. The City's Pecos Park page lists “Pickleball Court” among its amenities but leaves its Hours field blank, so the flyer is the only City source for outdoor hours. Lights are not stated by the City; see the Pecos Park page for what third-party directories report, and late-hours for every park by closing time.
Where the sources differ
- Pickleball not listed by the City's other sources. The flyer lists 3 indoor pickleball courts and a Monday/Wednesday drop-in here, but the City's Pecos Community Center page does not include pickleball in its Features and Amenities list, and the open-data layer's “Pickleball Courts” field is blank for this center (blank is not “no”; the layer does list a gymnasium). We show the flyer's schedule because it is the City's own pickleball document; call to confirm.
- Outdoor hours: flyer only (Pecos Park's City page has no hours).
- Address, phone and building hours agree across the flyer, the City page and the open-data layer.
What the sources don't say
Skill levels, play format, sign-up or rotation rules, whether paddles and balls are provided, court surface, how many of the 3 courts are set up per session, parking, and holiday closure dates are not on any City source we checked, so they are Unknown here.
